I have been commissioned to build a forum based site for product -recalls.org with the remit of allowing the site to be visible and searchable for all information on product recalls in the UK.
The client wished to have a forum based discussion platform built responsively so users can discuss the different issues with particular products that have been recalled.
The word press front end will have the latest product recalls and there issues with links to the forum behind the word press site the site is hosted on an UBUNTU server which I have deployed on an AWS EC2 instance for extra security and the forum is built with PHPBB an open source project which allows for growth and maintenance.
Phpbb also allows the client to assign roles to the users and forum moderators and has lots of different forum functionality for security and managing the forum, I have also applied a responsive style to both the forum and the front end.
